The Dartmouth-Hitchcock Norris Cotton Cancer Center provides care to people who live in the New Hampshire and Vermont areas. Patient and Family Support Services include support and educational groups, creative arts programs, healing arts and spiritual support. Participants in the melanoma support group and caregiver group can attend either in person or by phone. Additionally, clinical resources include the oncology nurse navigator, oncology dietitian, oncology social worker and health coaching through the Center for Shared Decision Making.

The Mitchell Cancer Institute is the only academic cancer center in lower Alabama, also serving lower Mississippi and the Florida panhandle. We provide a comprehensive spectrum of cancer services all under one roof, including Surgical Oncology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Nutrition, Genetic Counseling, Social work. In addition to two busy melanoma surgeons, there is a medical oncologist with a particular interest in melanoma and melanoma clinical trials. There is an active and growing Supportive Oncology program as well. Our cancer doctors work collaboratively with community dermatologists to ensure close follow-up and surveillance of melanoma patients and survivors.

Our program offers exceptional clinicians with a focused interest and passion for the treatment of melanoma and cutaneous malignancies. Integrated, multidisciplinary clinical care in a patient-centered environment. Exceptional patient support services. We provide a focus on screening and early diagnosis including community outreach and education. Ongoing clinical research on campus.

Information: The Melanoma Program at Thomas Jefferson University is known for the immunotherapy of metastatic melanoma, including hapten-modified melanoma cell vaccine. Thomas Jefferson University Hospital is also the major center for the treatment of metastatic uveal melanoma. Special treatments for liver metastases such as immunoembolization or chemoembolization have been developed.
